A Time To “Expect The Unexpected”
On February 17th we have a powerful solar eclipse in Aquarius, the sign of the visionary and the rebel. This eclipse will also be squaring the planet Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, delivering us a double dose of Uranian/ Aquarian energy so this will be a time to “expect the unexpected” on both a personal and global level. The effect of this eclipse will continue for the next six months, indicating a period of challenge. However, it also presents us with the opportunity for innovation and breakthroughs.

The Beginning Of “A New World Order”
February 20th we have something really quite momentous as Saturn and Neptune conjoin at the 0 degree point of Aries. This alignment is very rare and is being hailed as the beginning of “a new world order” by many astrologers as 0 degrees of Aries is one of the most powerful points in the zodiac – the very start of the zodiac, which emphasises again this theme of bold new beginnings and powerful shifts for life as we know it.
Saturn is linked to structures and control and Neptune rules the realms of the spiritual and the unconscious including illusions and creative inspiration. We could find illusions being exposed in the cold light of day – which has been happening already in the news and will continue to do so. This time could also strongly connect us with our inner truth – whatever that message might be.
The Year Of The Fire Horse
Around mid-month we also see the end of the Chinese year of the Snake and the year of the Fire Horse ignites! The numerology of 2025 also reflected the year of the Snake, adding up to a ‘9’ year which represents completion and letting go.
Many things came up last year to be released and make space for the new beginnings presented by 2026 which has the numerology of a ‘1’ year, marking a momentous fresh start for all. The year of the Fire Horse will move life forward from the 17th of February, so take all those experiences and all that you have learned from last year and decide what are you called to build in your life now?
It must be authentic, listen to your intuition, your gut instinct and not what you think you “should” do or feel pressured to do out of fear during difficult times.

Make the most of the powerful Solar Eclipse on the 17th by writing up a list of intentions or goals to guide your way this month. Finding your inner clarity will help you to embrace any craziness in the best way possible!
